Vitamin K2 (MK-7) compared to Vitamin K1

Dr. Schurgers and colleagues conducted a clinical study comparing Vitamin K2 (MK-7) to Vitamin K1 and found that MK-7 had a much longer half-life.5 Thus, the study indicated a much more positive health benefit of supplementing Vitamin K2 over Vitamin K1 due to the prolonged efficacy of Vitamin K2 (MK-7) in the circulatory system.
